Once you leave the marina, Loki will take you to the treasure Bays of Gocek. You will find the 5 islands of the bay, namely Gocek Island, Yassıca Islands, Zeytin Island, Tersane Island and Pig Island.
The island of Yassica consists of a few small islands with a small pond, which is suitable and favored by families with children. Traveling between the bays and islands of Gocek, you will not miss the rock tombs of the Lycian period.
Gobun Bay is only 4.5NM away fro our base marina, which is a quiet bay during the days when daily tour boats leave. In this bay, mooring is available to a wooden peir, along with a breakwater.
The largest of the islands in the Gulf is Tersane Island and the ruins of the ancient Greek settlement are seen on this island along with remains of an ancient shipyard and watchtower. There is also a restaurant here, which will be at your service throughout the season.
In the Cleopatra Hammam, which was filled with boats in the summer, you will find remains of a Roman monastery, some of which are under water.This is the place where the historical ruins with the sunken baths and blue and green coexist.
There are no facilities on the seven islands called Yassica islands. Yassıca islands are preferred by families with children because of the sandy beach and the natural pool which is located on the extension of the island. It is possible to catch the moonlight on the islands.
Gocek Island, which is 10 minutes away from our base, is the obvious choice for those who do not want to go on boat tours since it is the closest natural beach to Gocek center. The boats departing from Göcek coastal band carry passengers to this island from morning hours until evening. The island has a facility to meet your needs such as food, wc, shower. It is possible to camp for hours in the bay and rest under the shade of the trees.

Gocek is an ideal location covering some of the best marinas and sightseeing availabilities. The weather conditions being perfect for sailing throughout the season; rainy season ends after March and temperature starts to raise reaching bikini levels. Especially after May, by the end of the month you will enjoy stable weather conditions through out the season.
Considering the recent changes in exchange rates, it is easy to notice that Turkish Lira is much less valuable against Eur or USD than ever before. This means shopping is cheap and will be cheaper by the day due to devaluation of local currency. On top of that, mooring in piers of restaurants and bays are free of charge, as always has been.
All of above means;
- You will have the best sailing in clear waters,
- Pay peanuts for stuff and marinas,
- There are lots to see around,
- You will not be able to cover half of what you need to see.
